Meet the Bose SoundLink Revolve Speaker at Currys PC World and my unsigned Summer picks!

I was absolutely stoked when Currys PC World got in touch asking if i’d like to be a part of their latest Summer ad campaign, and now i’m excited for you all to see it as pre-roll YouTube ads and on Facebook! It was so much fun to shoot at my house no less, and I really got to grips with discovering the latest portable speaker by Bose. I’ve featured some speakers on here before, and as you know i’m a DJ as well as avid music lover, so whenever a new music gadget comes into my life – i’m curious. It’s called the Bose SoundLink Revolve, and it’s a portable speaker with loads of great functions. Currys PC World immediately spotted that it was going to be the tech must-have of the Summer, so I bring you some snaps of how it can work at a casual picnic and the full deets!

Let’s meet this nifty little gadget!

The Bose SoundLink Revolve speaker isn’t much bigger than my hand as you can see, meaning it’s perfect for sticking in your bag or case to take on the go with you. It holds a really impressive battery life of up to 20 hours, meaning you can take it to a festival or picnic/garden party and it’s not gonna die on you. Brill. It’s super easy to use with the buttons on the top controlling the music, which is playing via Bluetooth from your phone or device. You can connect two devices at the same time, meaning you can swap who controls the music! The best thing in my opinion however, is that it’s water resistant, so you can use it by the pool or even by the bathtub for a lazy podcast bath evening. Awesome.

Anyway, onto my top unsigned acts for Summer!

So I actually recommended three great unsigned acts for the ad and i’d love to share them with you today. Let’s start with beautiful heartfelt pop-rock from the gorge Emma Blackery. You may remember her songs from the past, but they’ve had a revamp for 2017 with the release of her brilliant new EP, Magnetised. It’s beautiful Summer tunes and you’ll love it. Up next is the atmospheric indie soul of Slowlights, a five piece band from London, UK. Their debut EP was released only Friday, and you’ll feel so chilled and transported to a sunny place listening to them. Highly recommend you give them a listen. For something a bit different, check out Normandie, a Swedish rock band with synths in all the right places. I’m absolutely hooked on their latest single, entitled ‘Ghost’, and I think you’ll like it too.

So there we go, that’s all the lowdown on the latest music must-have gadget, as well as some new tunes to listen to on it too. Epic! Cheers Curry PC World, this speaker has already made it into my favourite items for the Summer list and George is smitten with it! The sound quality is really incredible.
